Drivers Licence Dd/ref Rating: 5,0/5 3044 reviews

If your driver license has been expired for more than 30 days,
you must schedule an appointment to visit a driver exam station, as
you will be required to take and pass the written knowledge test.
If you have a motorcycle endorsement (Class 2 license),
you will have to take the operator's written knowledge test
and the motorcyle written knowledge test.

If you have lived in the District of Columbia for 30 days or more and you drive a vehicle in public, you must get a driver license from DC DMV—unless you are a student, diplomat, active military member, part-time resident, member of Congress, or presidential appointee and are thus eligible for driving privilege reciprocity with your home state or jurisdiction. The DD code on the front of the new Tennessee license stands for 'document discriminator'. The 16-digit code is just a new security measure added to each driver's license as required by Homeland Security. What that does is identify that card to where and when it was issued.
